Thinking of becoming a Mason?

Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest secular fraternal societies. It is a society of men concerned with moral and spiritual values. Its members are taught its precepts by a series of ritual dramas, which follow ancient forms, and use stonemasons’ customs and tools as allegorical guides.

Freemasons believe in;

Friendship; Benevolence; Integrity; Respect; Virtue; Self Discipline; Patience and Discretion

If these characteristics describe how you lead your life or the life you wish to attain, then Freemasonry is for you.

Our fraternity has a wonderful and interesting history, which dates back more than three centuries. We strive to live to the highest moral and social standards, treating others as we would wish to be treated.

We admit members from every ethnic group in the world who are valued on their own merits regardless of factors such as race, national origins or religion. We respect the ideals and beliefs of others and endeavour to behave with kindness and understanding to all creatures.

Charity is fundamental. However, we only raise money from our own members and not from the general public. We give generously to all walks of life throughout this country and the rest of the world.

If you are able to comply with the fundamental qualification of a belief in a Supreme Being and feel that our principles are attractive to you, then you may have much to gain from membership of our Order.
