What is Freemasonry?
Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest secular fraternal societies. It is a society of men concerned with moral and spiritual values.
There are some one hundred and thirty versions of what are now known as the Old Charges, dating from circa 1390.
Freemasonry has been actively practiced in Sheffield since 1761, one hundred years before the American Civil War.
